I see where you’re coming from but the problems you’ve stated of being in control of your money is why I had stated in my previous message

…then you’ve failed at investing and failed at managing your money

Whilst I don’t intend to aim the harsh wording at you, in other words I mean to say we should be fixing this problem

I think it’s worth doing a simple projection comparison e.g. between a decent pension scheme vs passively investing in index funds
